Our Programs
Montessori System School Schedule
While each family has a unique schedule based on their care coverage needs and child’s age, the following schedule is what a day can look like for our students:
🕢 7:30-9:00: Free play with friends in our daycare room
🕘 9:00-11:45: Montessori Preschool Classes
🕚 11:00-12:30: Lunch and Extracurricular Activities with Teaching Artists (lunch and activity times vary based on lunch shifts)
🕧 12:30-2:30: Rest Time or Extended Day Preschool Program
🕝 2:30-4:30: Afternoon Snack and Activities
Schedule Options
Our hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Children can attend either 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) or 5 days per week (Monday-Friday).
Young Preschool Program, Preschool Program, and Wrap-Around Care schedule options are the following:
Option 1: 4 hours a day maximum, preschool only from 9am to 12:30pm
Option 2: Up to 3 hours a day of Wrap-Around Care, up to 7 hours total per day
Option 3: Up to 5 hours a day of Wrap-Around Care, up to 9 hours total per day
Extended Day Preschool Program schedule options are the following:
Option 1: preschool only M-Th 9am-3pm and F 9am-12:30pm
Option 2: up to 3 hours a day of Wrap-Around Care, up to 9 hours total per day

Programs
Young Preschool Program
A foundational Montessori program for children aged 2 through 3 years or if not potty trained. Using the Montessori method, children are encouraged to develop independence, coordination, and concentration, as well as follow directions through large motor, sensorial, practical life, math, science and language experiences. Children do not need to be potty trained and will take an afternoon nap if utilizing Wrap Around Care.

Preschool Program
A multi-aged classroom for 3 to 5 years old. Learning is individualized and children are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a non-competitive atmosphere that accommodates individual learning styles. The children learn using the Montessori method and learning materials using the following curriculum: practical life, math, science, language arts, culture, sensorial, large motor and theory. Children need to be fully potty trained and will take an afternoon nap if utilizing Wrap Around Care.

✔ 4 days per week M-Th or 5 days per week
Extended Day Program
A program for children who are ready for academic challenges. The teacher will assess a child’s readiness for this program. Emphasis is placed on language arts, reading, social skills, math, science, and geography. The children will be involved in both group and individual skill-building. These students will not take an afternoon nap M-Th even if they utilize Wrap Around Care.

✔ No afternoon preschool class on Fridays, Wrap Around Care only
Wrap Around Daycare Program
The Child Care Program has been designed to complement all programs and to be an extension of the Montessori experience outside of classroom time.
✔ Drop off: 7:30-9
✔ Regular Program Activities: 9-2:30
✔ Afternoon Snack: 2:30-3
✔ Pick up 3-4:30
Afternoon activities include plenty of different options:
Outdoor play on our playground with two slides, monkey bars, ladders, and a separate large climbing gym.
Gross Motor Play in our large gym area with pedal cars, hula hoops, balance toys like step-a-logs and sit-and-spins, and a large parachute.
Lawn games and space to safely run in our large front yard and side yard.
Story time
Free art play
Independent imaginary play time with toys such as a dollhouse, dinosaurs, animals, a train table, trucks, play kitchen, and puzzles.
Having one provider and location to satisfy both your preschool and childcare needs eliminates any tricky transitions for your child and family. Our facility is bright, beautiful, clean, and fully licensed. Our classroom teachers are North American Montessori Certified and our supporting staff have worked in early child care settings. All of our nurturing and experienced teachers and staff are CPR and First Aid certified and participate in Continuing Education experiences throughout the school year in order to best serve the children attending Montessori System School.
