Here at Montessori System Preschool, children have access to gross motor movement for at least an hour every day. In the colder months and during bad weather, we utilize our wonderful indoor play area (gym). This might look like playing imaginative games, participating in gross motor activities, and having fun dance parties. Whenever we can, we take advantage of the spacious outdoor spaces located in the front and back of our building. In these spaces, our friends can run, jump, climb, and play as well as create their own imaginative games. Our teachers also utilize our outdoor spaces as an extension of their Montessori classrooms.
